Further to the armor prus discussion, I spoke with the manufacturer today and will get the testing done next week. I will splice the naked e2e as a standard prussik and break test it. The previous tests for the class 1 splice broke at just over 2200 kg. The class 2 broke at a little over 2800kg. When I find the test results I will post the exact figures. Both class 1 and 2 were spliced with large eyes to suit the bollard and 1 meter between the extraction points.
I will also be testing a new version of the 8mm armor prus that has a polyester core. The polyester version has a rope strength of well above 22kn. This will eliminate the class 1 class 2 debate in several applications.
