In the name of science I performed several "experiments" using liquid filled latex projectiles in a potato gun several years ago. I can confirm that because of the rapid acceleration, the fluid was not contained in any way when leaving the muzzle. The results were much closer what one can achieve firing a scatter gun, or dining at an unlicensed purveyor of street tacos.

Now tangerines on the other hand... they had a self lubricating rind, and a very satisfying "thunk" sound.

With the right gelatin consistancy, somewhere near "Jello shots" on the continuum between grape jelly and gummy bears; and a good quality silicone lubricant. I predict we could hit Levi on flat ground at about 150 yards, 120 if he is up a tree at the time.
