This is such a sad thing to laugh about.

yes it is, fact is that whatever condition this guy was in he had extreme unsolved issues and likely substance abuse and what those elderly suffered was unconscionable.

However it isn’t as isolated as we might hope, and the road there is usually bottled up experiences, dialogue is a good starting point in road back from a downward spiral....

As terrible the events are, light hearted humour at aspects of our experience does not imply the lessening of the horror, nor dishonouring those hurt or killed.

To my understanding laughing off the things that annoy us may actually be beneficial

Sorry, you’re right. I don’t mean to make light of contents of the article. I guess I was more caught up in sharing things we as tree workers often hear from homeowners. I wasn’t trying to insinuate that those things would bring me to a point of violence such as that guy, but the context was wrong to joke. I agree with you, and I apologize.

One can be the most hopeless junkie or tweaker on the planet, but if nobody gets hurt by their actions, I wouldn’t consider them a bad person.
This guy is a sick bastard. Rot in prison.
I HATE seeing anyone get hurt, but with elderly or children it adds a few more degrees to my already boiling blood.
