anyone use a husqy 365?

I like them. You can go to 372 70.7cc when rebuilt, 75cc 375 372xpW top on rebuild or even a aftermarket Big Bore 76cc on a top rebuild.

That 562xp is going to be sweet! I love the 346xp as much as I love my dog, and he's watching me type this.

Once I have that new 562xp, I will unleash my evil . . .

Hold up a second on the evil plan, we might not be doing that yet. I just read that the 562xp will have "captive nuts" which sounds bad on a few levels. The side cover is supposed to have these bar-nuts that don't come off, which makes me think about all the other stupid innovations that end up making things worse - like the Stihl oil caps that become impossible to screw back in properly.

We need to find the guys who are complaining about the "difficulties" of changing a bar in the field and losing parts so they demand a different system . . . We should take their nuts off with claw hammers and leave them where we find them.

heres an easier way to do this, go onto the manufacturers website and see what they recommend.

Why are you trying to run these big bars on these medium sized saws? Spend the $ and get a bigger saw.

I ran a stihl 362 with a 32" bar once. It works but if you are cutting where you need that much bar you will just end up frustrated. My 372 cranks my 32 around with no real complaints, but you are best off leaving it to the next size up (ms460, ms660, 385xp)

Haha, don't we all man. I'm not too big of a build either, but if we are talking saving weight in a tree you could try the 362 but you should maybe try to get your hands on the set up first to see if that's what your looking for.... Keep'er sharp

I used to have a jonsered 2065 (same as 365) it was a great saw pulled a twenty inch bar in soft woods just fine, but it was pushin it in the hardwoods. I would recomened spending the extra money and getting the 372 to pull a 24" bar. 372's a time tested design and the best saw husky ever made, power to weight you name it tops all other saws in its class. Proof 1- Husky has discountinued this saw twice that I know of and keep finding their way back to the production floor with the same design and no emissions bs. Proof 2- I'm an all out Stihl fanatic and I want a 372.
P.S.do I get any discounts for this rant?

The new 2010 372xp is a strato XT. So if your wanting the old 372xp pay attention to the de-comp being on the right side of cylinder.
The new xp XT ones have the de-comp in the top of cylinder cover.
