Anyone try the Climb Right spike pads?

They are a great improvement over the leather T pads. The bar doesn't squirm around in these. I do still have to wear some velcro athletic knee pads under them to keep from leaving painful dents in my legs after a full day in my gaffs. The difference with the leather T pads is the extra padding underneath them wasn't enough to stop the bar from gnarling my shins.

I noticed the little rinky dink 6-32 screws that hold the pad onto the metal bar are not right for these pads. I looked over mine today, and I noticed 1 was missing. I didn't think that would be practical for anything, so I bought some 8-32 screws, a size bigger, and put lock washers and lock nuts on them. They should have done this in the first place.
