Anyone seen a DMM buddy?

I have used a trango cinch on one of my lanyards and like it okay as long as I am not in so tight to the tree to touch the cinch (if it rotates it can release). And wish they had a left handed version.

But anyone tried new dmm buddy that is supposed to come out in 2013? The cinch is really great for what it was made for (rock climbing belay device), but not quite ideal for lanyard adjuster (good, though..)

But maybe since the buddy was designed by dmm, it might have advantages for a lanyard adjuster?

The Catch is a rope adjustment (backup) device certified to EN 12841 type A

The Buddy is a fall arrest device certified to EN 353-2

Neither should be used as a positioning lanyard adjuster.

Their design would not work well as a lanyard adjuster anyway.
