Any tricks for keeping pants from being pushed down at the waist?

I used to wear an inexpensive Arborwear belt which used 2 plastic D-Rings to secure it.
Under tension, it would not budge.
However, when I put my harness on, that loosened the D-Rings, and allowed the belt to open-up.

1. I changed to a different Arborwear belt. (wider & different securing mechanism)
2. I use the Arborwear belt as a "utility" belt to support extra equipment.
3. Pfanner suspenders, also.
The Pfanner suspenders mentioned above are for my pants.

I also have Skylotec suspenders for my Skylotec, Kolibri harness.
Never loaded up the harness enough to need them.

Hello All,

Purchased Weaver Elastic Suspenders to hold the harness up. We'll see.

Thanks for your suggestions.
If you haven’t watched this video on adjusting a treemotion harness, it’s very informative and the lessons are transferable to most harnesses. I know you don’t use a treemotion, but I recommend watching anyway. It helped me immensely (and I don’t use a treemotion). Might be an adjustment you can make to help this issue, and if nothing else, you may discover something you can do to slightly improve your harness fit.

If the elastic suspenders don't cut it consider rigid suspenders. They constrain harness shift to a limited amount. On some occasions my pants waist works downward an inch or so, usually at the back, but my harness stays still. I have homemade, two points of attachment front one point attachment rear, Y between shoulder blades, small cross clip strap across pecs like big backpacks have. Doubles as SRT ascend attach function. 3 Plastic snap together connections, stays on my harness.

Hello.

The Weaver Elastic Suspender arrived in one day! They're awesome, and fit on my Petzl Sequoia (MRS) nicely. They're a very stout elastic. In no way do they sag under the wait of the harness. I think the hipless amongst us will be pleased. Definitely eliminates the need to overtighten the harness waist belt or your pant belt...which always feels cruddy after a while. Here they are: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CL47BR5?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_G7XBBZSMGTE343KC9W8W

Cheers.

Suspender store .com. Try the two point version. Just don’t wear your climbing harness and pants suspenders.
