Just sittin in the hospital suite, waitin for my fiancee to start having contractions. Suppossed to start the process about 9 am, so little Colten should be here by noon, or so our OB thinks. ANyways, hospital has free WiFi, so I figured Id post up while waiting, pretty bored now. I'll post up later when he's born, everybody be prayin!!!

Your life´s gonna change big time, all to the better allthough you won´t think so when you´re night sleep is gone, fiancee turns into a mommy and everything else. But believe me - its worth it so hang in there and congrats!

Thanks guys! Still here waitin, its now almost 1 pm and theyre still waitin to break her water. Having a lot of contractions now, but still no pain, just a tad uncomfy. Shes tryin to take a nap right now, so figured Id post up again. Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers, it means alot to me. Be back later!!!
 
WOOHOO!!! Sorry it took me so long to post back up, but I am pleased to announce that Colten James Ruemmele was born on May 29 2008, at 3:22 pm at Flower Hospital in Sylvania Ohio. Colten was born 6 lbs and 11 oz, measured 21 inches, and was and is healthy and strong. He has my face all the way, plus red hair and blue eyes just like me and his mother!!! He has been nursing and sleeping like a champ all afternoon, absolutely perfect baby.

She went into active labor at about 1:30 pm, when her water was broke by our OB, received an epidural at 2:15 pm, and after maybe 20 good pushes, it was all over. Total labor time was less than 2 hours!

Thanks to everyone who has been thinking and praying for us today, my heart goes out to you all. Pictures will hopefully be up tomorrow when I get a few spare minutes, I cant wait to share him, he is SOOO beautiful!

Give me a few years, and I'll have him up in the canopy right along with me, Matt, and John!
 
Thanks guys, its great to have so many good people to share my joy! Greatest moment of my life for sure. We put him in the nursery last night so we could both get some good sleep, but brought him back early this morning. Hes awake right now over smiling and laughing with his mommy, then Im gonna take him for a while so she can sleep. Alright, well Im gonna put up some pics here in a bit, after she wakes back up, so Ill post up shortly. Thanks again guys!!!
 
Congrats!!! I am a father of three and run a tree biz. Take the time to spend with the fam .it pays better
