Ansi Z133

I don't think it would need to be sponsored. It would just need the initial leg work by the committee to get it up online. And if it does need some cash to make it happen, there has got to be a grant available for it. All those brains on the panel should be able to figure it out. Its just a matter of will, instead of going with the flow.

Re: ANSI-Z133

My calendar says April 16th in Baltimore. Pencil that in, I'm going to check to make sure it hasn't changed.

If someone is interested in carrying this idea of sponsorship forward send me an email. I'll do all that I can to put you in touch with the right people.

There's a chance that ANSI does not allow standards to be made into e-copies or copied. I'm sure not familiar with how that organization functions.

No chance Tom get real! Most ANSI standards are digital. http://webstore.ansi.org/FindStandards.a...l%7cZ133%7cnull

I've also downloaded tree care standards from England and Germany.
TCIA and ISA are Stone Age compared to other industries, and other countries. Why is this?

Big companies dominate TCIA and ISA.

Big companies get digital subscriptions/licenses.

Little companies don't speak up.

Little companies don't get digital access.

Re: ANSI-Z133

I am real Guy...I don't need a pinch.

There are things that I don't know so I admit it up front...and wait for snipers to take pot shots.

I just sent an email to ANSI asking how I would get a digital copy of Z133. when I find out I'll put up the information. This would probably answer the OP...for real.

No on-line or e-version is available.

It might be a tedious process but you could scan each page yourself and manipulate them.

You'd likely be drifting into the copyright/fair use violation arena if you do though. Just sayin'
Where can I find the document in order to simply view it? I can't seem to find it by searching google. Thanks

I have always found that to be ridiculous and this is not the only trade, mine is the same way. I am supposed to follow a set of rules but I am not allowed to know those rules unless I pay for a copy of those rules.

If you want the rules to be followed, they must be provided. Buy the rules? That's crazy talk.

I'd like a copy too, but I'm not paying for it. Just the principle of the whole issue , not the 20 bucks !
