An Embarrassment of Riches; Treestuff goes too far

I know some of you are affiliated with Treestuff, or know someone who is. If you could pass along a message? Let them know that after the order has been filled they don't need to keep shoving free shit in the box just to stuff it. Get those little styrofoam packing peanuts or something. What's with all the extra files, eye protection and prusik cord?

A few stickers and an ear plug is fine, but I can't even open the box in front of my wife anymore. She negotiates a strict budget and then sees me pulling all these extras out of this little clown box and that's it. Now she wants to see the invoice.

Archdruid, shhhh...not so loud. I think they filed your request on my account as I didn't receive any free stuff on my last two orders...not even earplugs. But obviously the free stuff was lost in transit or something, and if I called them about it they would send it right out...THAT DAY + FREE SHIPPING. But if they sent free stuff every time, I would just take it for granted... ...alright, I take it for granted. They make me spoiled! Well done TreeStuff, Well done. I have never admired a company so much! And it is not just about the free stuff, that is just icing on the cake.

I've cleaned up way too much of that packing styrofoam out the rivers to not want to see anymore of it! Panasonic uses small cardboard triangles now. Much better and recyclable.

I'm on a treestuff buying moratorium until I can get back into the trees. withdrawal symptoms are wracking my body...

Back to the subject. Had a little talk with my wife last night explaining the difference between the $380 saddle I was looking at and the #500 saddle that puts one on the top of the charts. Her reply was, "So it only $100 more".
