Also, Mark, how far was the distance/time you were traveling on the water between the cut to the crane?

Did you ever ask/check for underwater electrical cables? Sometimes they are laid across river/lake bottoms (especially around shallows/piers where they enter/exit the shore)
Wouldn't want to snag on one of those.

It wasnt far maybe 5-10 minutes.
I amvery familiar with the lake so I know what is in there.

Great work mark. A couple of things. Was that metallica via piano? Did you have any issues with your remote to the crane due to the water (this may seem like a weird question but when I lived in Va we had a hard time with our Carlton stump grinder and wireless remote because we were working so close to the water)?

Great idea on the vegie oil. I also noticed that you guys were wearing hard hats and life vests. Interesting ppe for a day of tree work.
