Adding attachment points to a saddle

I feel like my saddle is lacking attachment points sure i only have 2 small rings on either side often used for my hand saw and ones left open but then on my back since one of my points broke it has being used for my chainsaw lanyard. I would like some points for carabiners, straps, and other equipment especially for aerial rescue. I was wondering what rules or regulations there are for this if any, if none has anyone done added them? what did you do and what did you add or is it worth giving up a not so old saddle and buying a new one?

There shouldn't be an problem sewing into the padding. Stay away from modifying any of the body support webbing.

What saddle are you using? Can you post a pic or even a link from a vendor so we can see what you're using?

I use the buckingham black widow ill attach a picture of it from online but the left hand point it broken.

You should be able to have any shoe shop or canvas repair shop add loops or rings into the padded parts of that harness. Just stay away from sewing into the webbing waist belt part.

Look at other harnesses that have setups that you like and have them replicated.
