Who else uses one of these? Where the cordage(oceans maybe?)that is spliced onto the pinto pulley...it's a very tight bend... I know the makers know what they are doing and all but, does this concern anybody else?

Not much of a concern when you are spreading that load over two points as opposed to one. At least that is my view on the situation. I love mine and use it all the time the ability to double safety and choke off on a stem is awesome.

Yeah that makes sense. I just wonder how much that weakens the rope by having that sharp bend in it.

I haven't used the double saftey configuration. is it the on the top right of the pic?

Bottom left was the configuration I was referring to. All the other configurations are just icing really it works great any which way you go at it.

We pulled plenty of the pintos on the proof machine, very strong breaks. Haven't worked there in awhile so don't remember exact strengths, however in configuration the prusik will slip well before the terminations/bend radius is a concern.

I've been thinking about calling them and asking hat the exact number were. I guess, my main concern is not the initial weight/ pressure put on it but rather the constant(while in use) pressure put over time, as well as the bend radius and how both factors together effect the small rope over time.
