Thanks for the positive comment.I like to watch any thing that might make i job faster, safer and neater. My wife shot that video and i told her i wished she stood more to front so you could see that log better and longer video.I never planned on putting it here just wanted to show people what that machine could do.
As far as turf.If the ground is dry and hard not a problem. If it is a little soft better to use ply wood and i have forks to move the plywood any way so its not a big deal.If the ground is saturated better make sure you use plywood.Im sure it would be great with a grapple i just dont have money for that yet.If i get a grapple i want the 72" ryan grapple.Ive had the machine for 2 years in febuary and im very happy with it.Also i snow plow with it does great job too.
Nice vid and a good sized log for that machine, though well within it's capacity I believe.
And as far a turf friendly, go with a tracked machine, or, specifically, a Takeuchi. These things are beasts when it comes to picking wood, moving dirt, whatever. It's like a mini tank, very little chance of getting this thing stuck, and it's turf friendly.
