You had some good lines about the frugality accompanied with Dutch genetics.
"How do you force a Dutchman to run? Roll a nickle down the road."
"Who invented copper wire? Two Dutchmen fighting over a penny."

Highly likely some notable peers would still have discounted my credibility, worthiness and entitlement to work in my trade of 20 years with the various tools of the trade, even if they were archaic versions of the modern.
