Ran into a guy at the saw shop to day. He had pines sticking out of his arm going from his wrist almost upto is elbow. I had to ask what happened? He said he fell about 45'. He also had a massive concusion, he was out cold for 2.5 hours( no lid) along with a little internal bleeding. He was cutting and chuncking on a spar with just a laynard and he cut the lanyard while pushing the log off.This is where the story gets good. The fella then shows me a large scar across his throat from a barber chair that sliced his tracia.Then a huge scar on his thigh from a shattered femor from all of the pins. Here he was climbing unsecured while ascending and just slipped he says 50' fall. Then funny part was is that the fella almost seemed like he was full of pride form his battle scars.
