880 on a saddle ??

I might have to hit the gym- I'm not sure I'd be able to weild an 88 in a tree.

Being a lightwieght has it's obvious advantages in this line of work but even the 460 will start to make my arms shake.

working down in Louisiana i had to use the 66 on spars, which sucks. I have a webbing sling that i wear like a sash and hang the saw behind me. works real well for positioning your self and you can use it to help support the saw when first starting your cut.

when i use a big boy saw in a tree bigger than a 44 i attach a webbing sling and biner to the saw and hang off my climbing line attachment ring on my TM. this way if you are on spikes on a spar, usually the case when needing a 66 or 88, that way it does not pull down on your saddle. Be sure to use a breakaway lanyard to attach to the saw.

This does put more weight directly on your prussik, meaning you may need to add an additional wrap.

I prefer to hang the big saw from the tree not my belt.
