Holy cow what a difference in power, 650 beeing weeker than 660. I did use one for about a day and did feel a difference between a newer saw compared to an plder saw.

I hear its like almost a home-owner version of the MS 660. A guy I know bought one and he said it doesn't come close.........

I wouldnt go that far its the same PRO saw as the 660 with less displacement THATS ALL! The ONLY difference is the top end.

Still a good saw and if you need more than a 440/460/441/372 etc and dont want to drop the $$$$$ on the 660 the 650 will do you. Husky has the 390 now as well which is smaller than the 395.

Same as the 372/365 huskys as well.

Definately not a homeowner saw.

How much more broken in was the 660???

Given time to break in and a proper dual port muffler.........I think the 650 would be closer to pleasing!!!

Well the 650is past the broken in stage used 10 hours a day.
I still see the 660 as being a better saw.had the 660 for 3 years and still runs like a screaming ape.
Let a bud working for me use the 650 and put it back in the truck grabed the 395 just shook his head.
Do not know glad it was trial saw for this job cause I would be disappionted.
