It is compact, I will give it that. Can it do anything a hand ascender and a micro pulley can't do? I'll wait and see what the price is. I already carry a hand ascender on my harness, and a micro pulley. Would have them even if I had this as well. Seems like I wouldn't need it, and wouldn't want it if it is more than about 85 dollars. But I'm sure there are a lot of people who would love to own one.

Not only do I want one for my hook line, but those black and orange carabiners are cool. Looks like both the device and biners aren't yet available in the US.
