461 vrs 462

What's this vape lock thing?

My low & hour 461 has started acting up. Stalling. My employee was using it, so I don't have the symptoms down, first-hand.

I just bought 2 462 arctics and a normal 462 so that means 6 - 462's out in shop, only ran 1 arctic and the normal so far out of these 3. The arctic has a ton more power than the normal so Im sure the mtronic programming is different in each saw , the arctic has real good torque right out of the box where the normal is quite lazy . Been cutting for a year now with 462's . But I also have I think 5 -461's , all arctics . I feel the 461 is a stronger built saw but I find it abit harder on my wrists when falling with it so I use them on the landing

How do the arctic models have more power?

just how the mtronic is set, once both saws are broken in they should be equal . My first 462's took at least 2 weeks of cutting to get broken in . Just watch the muffler , once its a solid blue color I found its close and that takes days of running to do so
