335 Husky

Well, the 335 was discontinued about 2004, maybe earlier, when the 338 came out. If your oiler has a blue partly plastic screw it's the old, poor one. The newer oiler, which works just fine on all my saws, is all steel. It can be fitted to the older saws.

I had a 335 until a friend of mine got ****ed off with it while up a Lombardy poplar. He threw it into to the Usk river never to be seen again. All because it would never start and when it did the starter cord would stay unwound. It took him a while to tell me were it went.

I purchased a 335xp when they 1st came out.... very balanced, and easy to hold on to, best trim saw I've ever used.
worked very good for the 1st 6 months or so, until the oiler stopped working.
the nipple on the oiler hose steadily popped out of the casing time and time again.
I even tried J.B.Weld ... still did'nt hold it in.
338 works much better with the same balance/comfort.
