I love how the music kicks in when the cutting starts.

Cool tunes.

Reducing with a crane is always sweet.

The portable seats in front of the chipper made me LOL!

Many a good tale is told whilst sat around that chipper, those seats play a crucial part in this

Taylor, that was Leonie, I don’t think that’s spelt right…. Anyway, it’s pronounced Lee-own-ee and she works with us. I do believe we behave a little better when she’s with us i.e. the language is cleaner and the guys are a lot less sexist than normal....I get sick of being the one to have to tell them otherwise, so it kinda takes the pressure off me when she’s in

Jamin, the lady of the house very kindly made us Tea and toast before we got started, although normally we have a flask of very strong coffee first thing.

Jessie, I'm just not ready man!

This was Nicks job AKA nailer on T.B. Very well planned Nick

Very nice controlled cuts and picks as usual. Its nice to have such control and a good operator.
Whay the downward cut at4:39 and 6:06? Was there something in the way? Great stuff though.

I attached the slings in haste (Without letting the hook settle) on that stump and had already completed the horizontal cut before I thought about it. As we were so close to that fragile wall, had the crane alignment been off-set towards in the wall direction, it would have taken a clout with inevitable damage.

The sloping-cut not only created an initial barrier but made it very easy to read which way the chunk was going to shift on completion of the severance. I came in at a very acute angle so not only creating a taller ‘initial’ barrier, but also to allow for a more sensitive reading due to the greater distance my saw had to travel to meet up with the horizontal cut.

I’ve learnt through experience to listen the nagging little voice that pops into my head before passing a point of no return. I used to block it out and convince myself ‘It’ll be alright’…. but it never was! A lot of good work can be ruined if you slack at that final hurdle.

Good point! It's important not to disregard that "little voice" for the sake of production (or anything else). Awesome video again Reg.
