2018 Ford Transit for sale - perfect for climber

Transit Trail looks nice. Would be good to find something like that with some legit tow capacity. 7500lbs +
Lots of the bigger vans have that, one of my friends has a 12 seat 350, really tight turning radius compared to my 2500 long bed too

Where there is a will, there is a way. I have a 5x10 trailer with 4' sides. Loading isn't too bad but unloading sucks.
I have a beater 3/4 x 30' long rope. Ford diesel with 8' box and ladder racks. I lay the end of rope side to side across the back of the bed. Just far enough in to get a good hold of the butts. Good base of brush on the bottom, pack it up to the racks, slice n dice, and repeat. fill truck up and bring it home to my spot. Back up to the tree near the oversized burn barrel and tie off. Pull forwards then retrieve rope from pile. I did a large spruce removal this way. 70' tall and 32'' DBH. Three loads of brush and one and a half of wood. Just me, my wife, and that pick em ups.

She got a high 5 and some coin.

Very nice Transit. GLWS

A little trick to this method that prevents multiple piles from being strung too far apart from each other. Instead of tying directly to the tree, install a pulley and tie it back to the truck. Debris pulls off the truck as it did before, with the option of continuing to skid it across the ground until it gets to the pulley.

Just to be clear, this is/was the smaller Transit Connect, right? Not the full size Transit? I can imagine Ford discontinuing the smaller Transit Connect but I can't foresee them pulling the plug on the full size Transit since it competes so heavily with Ram Promaster and Mercedes Sprinter.

yeah, dodge and nissan are pulling theirs too. They say everyone wants pickups which are practically useless unless your hauling hay or you actually want everything to get blown away, stolen or wet.
Are you referring to the small versions of the Dodge/Ram (Promaster City) and Nissan (NV200) ? Surely not the full size vans...

yes. the actually usefull vans for people living in cities are being discontinued. The vans the size of houses are more profitable. and that line is expanded.
