2 Large Tree Removals

I'm going to post this video here too. I have it in the Crane thread, but I don't know if it will get lost in the shuffle.

Here you all go.

This was my first editing job.

2 Large Tree Removals

Hey Jamin, great job and great video

Was that a wire sling you were using for the lifts?

So glad you were able to hang onto that 88

That squirrel sure was defiant

Looked like a real tight crew happy in their work, always good to see
wink.gif

Looking forward to you next video.

Reg: I wish that was me in the tree that day.

My hat goes off to Charlie Wagner for doing 2 trees that day. Which, you can see we were running out of daylight.

And yes we were using cables. I don't like cables because they are naturally, wiry. But, we made do.

As you noticed we all get along. The flow on the ground was great. I don't think we ever had to hold up the climber. I get comments with my customers when I do removals. They will say things like, "I am impressed with how you all work together." Or, "You guys don't really need to talk much, you just know who does what." I have some good working-type of friends.

And Dustin (the camera guy) did a good job too!

Don't I wish!

The customer was a friend's father. Even though I kind of "had it in with him," he still had 3 other bids. I got the job for $5,400. Now, the very large wood you see bucked up into 2000lb chunks was for my friend's Bobcat. My friend Mark, he was the guy without a hardhat, owns his own landscape business. So, to keep cost down for his father, he said he would help.

Not bad eh?

Jamin, I'm pretty sure most people on here can relate to that feeling but it sometimes makes more sense to spread the weight of responsibility when its an option! The end result is what really counts. Hiring Charlie was clearly a smart move, well done.

That makes all the difference in the world. When you call down for something to be tied on and it's already on the rope. Yeah baby!
