2 Day Island Tree work Adventure Vlog!

Hey guys I recently created a YouTube Channel with hopes of documenting some of the cool jobs we do. This is the first video where I take you through the eyes of our crew as we work on Bowyer Island in BC, Canada.
It's not the best quality since I only have a GoPro Session to capture all the action with right now but we plan on getting more GoPros and Drones and plan to develop some quality content so any feedback is much appreciated!

Very cool. Love the documentary style, beautiful scenery, good music. Seem like a good bunch of dudes.

Very good footage for a single Hero Session.

why not prune?
seems to me trees where solid, chunk wood and crown looked good.
in your local, you really don't want to shit in your own back yard.
no what I mean?
vid wise anything longer than 5 minutes is really a waste of your time and some others might feel that also.

We mainly focus on pruning tree's, we are definitely not removalist. We always remove trees as a last resort, however, this island boat access job was a rare occasion.

This took place on an Island, its not really "shitting in your own backyard". The branches will be will be burned in a bonfire and in the meantime the Cedar foliage supply a great food source for the wild deer that live on the Island.
Yes some of the trees by the cabin were healthy, however, the trees were way too close to the cabin and branches consistently brake off and damage the roof, as well as the client wanted them gone for space expansion as well as improving the view for the cabin. The wood will be used for firewood next winter and the the big Fir stem was saved for milling!

It's hard to fit 2 days worth of footage into 5 minutes! I appreciate the feedback though!

Hey Mack,
Nice video. I grew up in Horseshoe Bay and it's neat seeing it posted on an international forum.

Ropeshield, I hardly think it is fair to make those comments when the majority of videos posted are removals and are not in remote places such as Bowyer Island.
