2 day INDOOR Aerial Rescue workshop

Re: 2 day INDOOR Aerial workshop

Jared and I are psyched. This will be a very in depth and fun workshop. I can't wait. Having two days to work with each attendee personally is an amazing idea. I wish someone did this years ago when I was learning.

If you want to participate don't wait. We have to cut it off at 30. See you there! Oh, and there is a big surprise for all attendees that will be worthwhile!

Re: 2 day INDOOR Aerial workshop

Not sure if this was posted somewhere and I missed it, but what credits will we receive for this? It looks as though this would meet the CTSP requirements. I have a hard time getting those credits, they seam to be far and few between. I am up for recertification in a few months, thats why I ask

Re: 2 day INDOOR Aerial workshop

Hi Royce, looks like 14 or so CEUs depending on how Rich H is. You should be half way there after the workshop though. Hope you make it ,kind of because I have to compete against you at NECTCC. This workshop will definitely increase efficiency in the A.R. Event

Re: 2 day INDOOR Aerial workshop

Hey Brian, I'm pretty sure I am going to go. Just have to crunch some numbers first. Thanks for the info on the CEU's, that is really great.

Re: 2 day INDOOR Aerial workshop

Just talked to Brian, and this is still happening and it sound like it will be a great time. I encourage anyone who has not get signed up to do so. It is limited to 30 spaces and they will fill up.
Aerial rescue is something that EVERYONE should be familiar with and trained on. This is your opportunity.

Re: 2 day INDOOR Aerial workshop

Wow what an awesome weekend! Huge thanks to Brian for hosting this workshop and to Mark and Jared for making the trip out. I had a great time learning and sharing ideas. Not only did we all get to learn and practice different rescue scenarios in a fun and safe environment. There was also an emphasis on tricks and tweaks we could apply to our own systems to make us safer and easier to be rescued should the need arise. Excellent job everyone!

Re: 2 day INDOOR Aerial workshop

Out of the park, Guys! The hands on nature was great, with more than enough opportunity for everyone to use their gear to replicate what they may encounter in their work environment. I could see that everyone walked away having learned something from some of the best instructors around.

Bill, there's room for one more piece of gear in your bin, and only one, so choose wisely! Thanks for the chance to enter one of the more challenging scenarios with that ascent pick off. It was fun to work with you and Yaple.

Thanks to George at Shelter for hauling in the goods and offering up all the great giveaways.

Re: 2 day INDOOR Aerial workshop

Well said Oceans!! This was an awesome weekend! we rarely practice AR(as a company) and this brought to light the endless possibilities of things that could happen and how to reduce that risk. I have already tweeked my base tie to make it as simple as possible for the ROPEMAN(ground guy) to lower me. I've scheduled AR in house bi-monthly and would love to get it down to once a month. (you like what i did there with the "ropeman" Oceans?) Thanks for all the tips all time Whip!

A big thank you to Mark and Jared for coming out on the weekend and sharing there expertise! and a huge thank you and appreciation to Brian for setting all this up! awesome locations and breakfast and lunch both days! oh yea!

Leave it to George to be able to set up a booth in a crossfit gym full of sweaty tree guys in like 10 min! Thanks for the freebies George, I'm sure everyone that won something will use it well.

Again thanks Brian for this opportunity, and ill catch most of you in Burlington!

Kieran
