Yep, there is room for improvement for sure. I also saw two other things, physical ability and ballz both of which come in handy and can't be taught. A few months with a pro crew and this dude would be money.
 
well at least he has his Isa certs and tries to preform quality work according to his website. some guys just won't wear a hard hat. it doesn't mean they don't do quality work.
by the way, that is one mean cat rescue he must LOVE cats. i'd have let it fry or call the utility company.
bottom line: Haters hate. Ballers ball. this is america. he has the freedom to preform tree care anyway he wants; it is his company. now his employees have to follow all osha guide lines and standards and at least know the recommendations.
Speaking of haters i had a lady in the saw shop just straight up trash talking Arbor MD Tree Care, my company. I was standing there paying for a couple of repair items listing in on her conversation and she was pretending to know me to a guy she was there talking with. all the while not knowing i was standing beside her. she said we didn't have insurance, we were hacks, that our trucks suck and were not licensed or insured. that she was sure i have had someone die on one of our jobs and how someone almost ran her off the road in our 'logger truck'. all of it b.s.
So as my grandmother would say if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. my added part: cause karma is a B_tch. If you wonder why nothing in life works out for you then check your tongue cause it is sharper than any two edge sword.
The guys waiting on me at the saw shop asked if i was going to cause a scene and call her our. I said no let her hate. I'm not going to her level cause she obviously isn't on mine and going down on something like that could be bad for your health. =-)

Well Said Jeff...it just consumes to much energy that could be put to better use, why waste it on haters and ballers they will just be back at it the next day

It may not be good luck. He may have just not filed a claim, or perhaps he has real good customer satisfaction and the clients may have been willing to look the other way when something got damaged.
