    rope choices for unicender

Dave, I use the Uni with a tether. I have the Uni "extended" on the tether for SRT ascent (Texas sit/stand) and then usually attach the Uni directly to my bridge for working the tree. I have a few revolvers and a selection of rings(from my F8/revolver days) and I will try your suggestion...

    rope choices for unicender

Tom, Thanks for the reminder. I tied safety knots for the first few weeks using the Uni. Occasionally, I still tie them. Maybe I will use them more while I'm testing the Uni with Blaze.

    rope choices for unicender

thanks for the input guys, DSMc, I'm sure that a friction sharing device makes descent smoother, but I don't want to add additional gear to my setup at the moment. I used the F8/revolver system for a while and am enjoying the simplicity of the Uni. I am really enjoying using Blaze with the...

    Unicender tether advice

lync, I tried a similar system using beeline for the tether for a while, but without the extra biner. I could try adding an extra biner so I don't have to open my life support biner to "shorten the tether." I have attached a pic of the current system that I'm not happy with. Hopefully this...

    Unicender tether advice

Thanks for the welcome Jamin, I thought about using a Gri-Gri, but I have resistance to using 2 SRT devices together. I'm looking for some other solution with less "moving parts." thanks again

    Unicender tether advice

Hello Treebuzz Community. I've been reading this board on and off for a while. This is my first post and I want to thank all of you for sharing your ideas and helping people and me to be a better, and safer arborist. Background for my question: I have been using a Unicender SRT for the past 6...
