I have a new set of knives and filters for a newer Bandit 15XP. They are 4 hole knives and Cat filters.
Will sell pretty cheap as they’ve been collecting dust for a while now in the shop.
Will get pics soon.
So far quotes have come in at between 19 and 29k. These mf’ers are out of their minds. The L pack boxes I can buy for between $3-4K and the hoist is another $2500 ish (those are prices I can get them at I’m guessing they get them much cheaper).
So they’re charging Well over 10 k for the...
If I'm buying/building a brand new truck I'm not going to ghetto it up with some homemade plywood chip box.
I think $15k sound like a good guess.
My luck with aluminum things that vibrate a lot is not good and alum is much harder to fix.
the price I got is $67k with 122hp cat diesel, winch and hydraulic yoke for the upper feedwheel
pretty sure it's about 10k less for the gasser according to the sales guy
It still baffles me how new equipment prices are unknown and not advertised. The last three new things I have bought you have...
18XP is the same as the 1590XP not the older 1590 which was a 15" chipper, once they added the XP the capacity went up by 2-3 inches which is why they changed the model names as to not confuse us tree guys.
I currently have a older 1590.
Bandit changed their models recently to actually tell you the capacity (unlike the older ones where a 1390XP was a 15" and 1590XP was either a 17" or 18".
From my experience both Vermeer and Global (bandit) suck as far as service goes along the front range.
Not sure if it’s lack of good mechanics or they don’t care.
Does anybody make thin smooth surface duramat? Hoping to find a thinner version of a duramat that has a smoother texture for the mini and spider lift. We have been using 1/2" plywood which works great but doesn't last too long. The only time we really need them is for turning on turf which is...
My plan this fall was to order one of these :

and find a suitable used tire to mount.
I have a friend that built a full size one and seems to like it because if you're plowing gravel it doesn't...
thanks for the entertainment....... I will reach out tomorrow to some local organizations and see if any of them are worthy of the Akimbo $$$$. Will update this thread before all is said and done.
