Yeah, I hear you and agree. It has been a challenge to try and explain a new logos in 59 second increments. On the bright side it has put me under enough pressure that I think each time I put something out I try to refine it so much that its only driving a particular point home each time. This...
Haha! Awesome thanks for letting me know Steve. Yeah, I never wanted to have a Zuckergram but it's the best way to share videos and pictures with people about the Nest, so we jumped right in.
If I'm not mistaken what treebing is saying is that "It is a little intimidating for some reason and seems complicated." Seems being a key word. Then he says, "it has turned out to be fairly straight forward."
Nevertheless, the more you own the more owns you, so sticking with what you have...
Hey Steve, have a look at our landing page KBNest.com Theres a section with drop downs called "How Can the Nest Benefit You", within the drop downs there are links to some illustrations which describe visually what the type claims in each dropdown. Please send me feedback here once you have a...
Right. Good observation. I think time could be one of the best educators for the new logic of the Nest. It's really quite simple in practice. I think what people can't wrap their head around is the logic of why they might need it. or why it could be better than what they're currently using...
Thanks. Yes, we are going to start posting instructions on social media this month. We also have many instructions in our tech notice which anyone can see on our landing page kbnest.com. Also, when you purchase the Nest you get what we call The Supplement which is currently 28 pages of...
Thanks Steve. That's great feedback! I'm going to attempt to capture what you're looking for this coming month of October. Sometimes the processes of the climb can become so second nature that it doesn't even occur to me to cover some things in a demo video. What's more, I feel I need to account...
When using a retrievable anchor, if a climber is accounting for basic physics and using proper manufacturer recommended retrieval techniques, but the anchor is still failing to retrieve even a small percentage of the time, then it's not worthy to be considered a useful retrievable anchor. This...
In my experience, Aramid fiber can take a beating and last a while with proper care. The Tech 11 tether and RIT bound loop prusik are both easily replaceable. Wesspur and other "Approved Assembler' companies will carry replacement tethers and prusiks for the KBNest. The bound loop prusik is...
Video for you guys.
Wesspur Tree Equipment is currently the first and only distributor carrying the Nest at the moment. Ask your favorite dealer to reach out to use via KBNest.com We plan to make this accessible in all the major stores. We are happy to work with your favorite equipment dealer.
Great feedback thanks guys. Abdon has expressed interest in the Nest, and I know he would like to give it a test out. I understand he works closely with Bartlett too.
Thanks for the feedback. There may be no advantage for you if you have your system dialed and you really like how you climb, why change? On the other hand, if there is any aspect that appeals to you in the first post explaining the Nest, what would those aspects be? if any. And why do they...
The roller reduces friction when retrieving SRS lines including a blocked bight which would give you two SRS lines from the roller slot. It also can be used for DRT if you install a floating ring on the tether first to run your line through it and the roller.
What style of video would be most helpful to understand the anchor for you guys? Because it is a brand new concept, some feedback on what about it is not understood would be helpful to know before making a good video.
Have any of you come across the KBNest anchor? Have a look.
There will be more videos to come from KBNest.
