I'm putting together an elevator rear mount truck with Altec and they want me to go with a 33K cab and chassis that is double framed. This is a dealbreaker for me because in the northeast double framed trucks do not last at all because of the rust. Is this really necessary?

This distortion was in the middle. Where the attachment point gravitates to when I hang stationary. I cut the rope when replacing it so I didn’t have to fuss with unjamming a knot.
Putting this out there to bump awareness about the rope bridges. This one on my treerex was only six months old. The outer sheath was totally distorted.
