Nice. I lived in Spokane for 6 years or so. Got to know some of the boot makers there. The White’s guys were great. Super helpful, friendly, and great at what they do. Stihl gas and oil caps like or loath?
Seems like it’s give and take. I don’t mind the snap caps, but I’ve also learned how to work with them after learning the hard way so many times… I don’t mind the screw caps so much either, except make sure you always have extras on hand as you will eventually wrench it too hard and deconstruct it.- Bendroctanus

Ok, figured it out. The main problem…. Was yours truly. Haha, but in all seriousness it feels like a silly mistake. @Bart_ I think you were the closest. Thank you, and everyone for chiming in. Well mostly staying below freezing but we had a some snaps of single digits and negative wind chill. I didn’t necessarily run them too much during but the saws live in the saw box. I might be lazy for bot wanting to thresh through the archives. Had it happen on an MS441 Magnum and an MS660 Magnum.
