I have a Borntrager, it’s the 53 ton or 63? Great jack. And they are great people, we had an incident where the jack decided to turn into a bowling ball and rolled down the very steep hill and then crashed into a tree bending the pump assembly and knocking the pad off. We had packed in over a...
Guess I should clarify: I have zero experience with Avant, my recommendation was based off my experience with other machines and aimed at just power vs no power. Good info @DRBetz
I’d recommend the power. I know a lot of guys don’t feel the need and have gotten good at bumping loads into the right position but why limit yourself? With a powered rotation you can make brush piles dance into the chipper. Sort through a knee deep pile of pine limbs at the base of the tree and...

I just got a 3/8 sprocket with the small spline. Haven’t tried it yet but I’m thinking it will be all I need. Now should be able to run the 24” .050 bar. I don’t think anybody makes a .325 bar in the 24” length.
And maybe my 400’s are 3/4 wrap? I’ll have to look Randy evans built the saws and...
