    Cold and snowy climbing/ working

Good stuff, I guess I should be thankful the phone has not been ringing because wow, winter is in full swing here. We have close to 12” of snow on the ground and plenty of cold temps to keep it there. I’ve been cutting timber this week, it’s been exhausting walking in the deeper snow. Jet sled...

    Throw bag-line accuracy issues

“throwball blues” Some days are just off Some shots just won’t go Funny how everyone has their own methods. Helmet is on, no glasses. Two hands, no gloves for me. I mostly hand throw. Big shot is helpful at times, I’ve never used an APTA I figure it’s like a free-throw shot and those nba players...

Just a quick cut and move so grandma can get her car out. Dead multi stem red oak, probably came down in the snow we had around thanksgiving. Just slapped the car and trailer

Hook looked extra helpful there, Nice rigging they did there to save on slippery hand dragging labor on that slope

    Cold and snowy climbing/ working

I switch back and forth a lot between srs and mrs, whatever the tree and work dictates. Yeah falling is no good, anytime. I already went down once this year on icy steps, super lucky to come out without injury on that one!

    Cold and snowy climbing/ working

Re - hitch, device and rope interactions What multicender do you feel most confident in during cold weather climbing? I really just use hitches. I tend to run a shorter setup 24-26”. I’m thinking maybe a longer setup 28-32” could be beneficial, any feedback on that idea?

    Cold and snowy climbing/ working

I feel like this is kind of a dumb question, but having been in the south for the last 15 years has made me pretty unaccustomed to cold weather. Additionally I’ve never really climbed or worked in consistently below freezing temperatures or with snow Anyone have any tips or suggestions for...

    End of year purchase

I ended up going with the Milwaukee power polesaw, grabbed some extra batteries and got the blower for free, these deals are wonky. Paid some off on a loan too, I’m calling that good for now!

    End of year purchase

I was just referring to the pole saw, yes that was the price I had seen too. There was a few variations of it. One had 3 chains and another came with a rear handle , but only one battery and of course the price was a bit more for each of those
