    I think he may have been on to something here. I see lots of sloppy cutting since we sub our crane to other tree services as well. Lots of folks struggle with getting that first cut level. If they mess it up, its usually downhill from there.

    We use ours daily. We have a vio35 with a farma grapple. Feeds the chipper nice. We made a rope bollard for it as well and a tree pusher.

    We had to lift out a tree that fell at one of our local state parks. It tore out a retaining wall. We also took down a good sided poplar tree in bad shape. I had to use the crane as a tie in and walk down the log to cut it apart. It was a bit unnerving cutting it out from under my feet.

    Chipper knive bolts

    As others have said, McMaster Carr is a good source. Our 990xp takes 5/8 x 2.0 bolts. Use good grade 8.
