Best practices for using a lift near exposed roots or patios

Any way you can up sell the custy on bringing in some dirt? Might be an easy sell because I bet they are tired of mowing over that. I have laid down canvas painter tarps and dumped enough chips to even things out and mated in over the top of that.

    Teach me about dump trailers

The one pound is the difference, plated at 26,000 is under CDL, 26,001+ is CDL. Here in s Wisco they only plate trucks in brackets of weight 12k, 14k,…. up to the 26,000 lb plate. So I can’t register a 25,999 lb truck. Also I found out that simply de-rating a truck/ trailer at registration is...

changing the hydro oil in a terex 75 footer

I don’t know the exact specs of that unit but 35 gallons seems like a lot. I would think 15-25 gallons would be more likely. Just plan on a lot of oil coming out.

    Teach me about dump trailers

IMO one inevitable failing to a dump trailer is going to be the battery. At some point it will not have enough juice to lift the hoist fully when loaded and it will happen at the most inconvenient time. I ran heavy gauge welding cable under the truck back to the trailers hydro motor with a few...

Ramsey vs Dynamic winch for Bandit 12xp

The 4x4 off road crowd has a break lock that can be plumbed into your existing break system. It allows you to lock all four tires while not holding the break pedal down. I’m not sure if it works with ABS systems.

The most wrecked chipper knives I've ever seen.

I will agree. Having seen my old chipped eat a T post. That damage looks like rock or concrete by how the metal looks abraded.

Ramsey vs Dynamic winch for Bandit 12xp

I was thinking of support for the tilt cylinder. More or less to help spread the wear and tear.

Ramsey vs Dynamic winch for Bandit 12xp

I wonder if adding some guy stays from the top of the grapple to the frame of the mini would firm things up on hard pulls once you build your up grades. Chain binder maybe or something similar, easy on easy off. Anyway it’s my brain overthinking it probably.
