So just for the sake of posterity.
When buying long distance there are a few things to remember.
-Do a search online to check the reputation of the dealer. This will save you lots of trouble.
-If they check out, have them send you all the info they have on it. Lots of pictures, service...
When I was a kid a friend and I rode our bikes to the horse races. After watching them for a while we talk a guy into
placing a bet for us. That house didn't finish but the next race we asked him again and again he did. This time the horse finished second and we won some money. So we gave...
Sorry but I'm just seeing this message. If you still want to talk to me about it just send me an email with some pics. I would like to know why this truck is an issue for CARB. It shouldn't be. Its an 06, under cld. You should not have to do anything to it until 2023 or so.
You'll need to take it to a mechanic. It has a Cummins diesel not a Ford. There is no way to talk you through this, its way too complicated. So just take it to a Cummins shop.
The gross vehicle weight ratio (GVWR) is 15,000.
The combined GVW (with a trailer) is whatever you want to make it.
That truck can haul up to 10,000 lbs and still be under CDL.
So you can do a CGVW of 25,000 if you want but most guys do it at 20,000 lbs. Just figure in whatever your chipper...
That's a real old Chipmore I think. Never seen one with a Wisconsin but that sure looks like a Chipmore drum.
Wisconsin is a good engine. Keep the fins clean, valves adjusted, gas fresh. Do NOT jump start. Charge the battery first. If you have to jump it, unplug the voltage regulator and...
There is no difference that I'm aware of. Even the id tags will leave out the xp sometimes. It is just marketing. The older units were just 250's then at some point the added the xp for "extra power".
I'll never understand why Bandit and Morbark mess with their model numbers. A 1590 with 18" capacity, 140 hp and weighing 9900 lbs is really a 1890. Why the hell do they do that? I'll never understand this and it's a pet peeve of mine. There is something inherently dishonest about it. I...
I believe it is a tier 4 interim engine. The engine tag has it conforming to 2010 EPA and CARB standards. That makes it a tier 4. Its the tier 4 "final" that Vermeer is having trouble with. However I could be wrong.
Got this one in a little while ago:

Sold the 02 2400 but still have both Bandit 1890's.
Do i hear crickets??
Thanks for the promo Bixler. What's your budget?
We still have the 02 F650 in Reno and last time I talked to him he had a 1 ton GM with an aluminum bed he was looking to sell as well.
I think you must have connected the Murphy and Ignition switch wrong. Did that part of the problem start when you replaced those two things? You need to start over and map out what the symptoms are and when they started. It sounded like you pull a punch of wires trying to shut it down...
