Seeking commercial clients - what’s the secret?

So I’ve been in business for around 7 years now, and we’ve gotten a handful of good commercial clients. My problem is that I honestly don’t understand the process of getting into the circle of large corporate accounts. I’m just not sure how to get my foot into the door. Any suggestions? I’ve...

    Would you climb this?

Careful my friend. Tie into a neighboring tree if you dismantle. Also, use a tag line to reduce movement if needed. You can use a hammer to listen for soft spots, drill it and test for soft spots, etc. Don’t EVER “F*ck it” climb. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Chipper shaking/breaking bolts.

I’ve got a Terex Woodsman Tac720. It seems to be shaking more than our previous chippers, and it is breaking some mounting bolts. Any suggestions on where to start? The engine is smooth, but when the drum is engaged it shakes a little too much. Anyone have experience with these? Any...

Fun thread - "Must Have... ?"

No we do not. It's not made to shock load, but is very useful for other things besides srt. We usually hold light rigging by hand, or natural crotch if we need just a touch of friction. Besides that we just portawrap it all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fun thread - "Must Have... ?"

From one business to another, what are some of the "Musts" to you? Besides the obvious stuff of course. I would say one of the musts from us is a petzl rig descender. We use that little thing for SRT, and putting tension on branches and stems. Super useful and cheap. What about you?

    Considering a 95 Vermeer 1250 85hp Diesel. Thoughts?

Hi guys, I'm looking for a cheap lesson. I'm considering purchasing a 1995 Vermeer 1250 85hp diesel. Does anyone have experience with this machine? It has a 12" capacity and has the side by side roller feed. From what I've read it has some design flaws but is a loyal machine. Its self feeding...
