I hated my rigid for the longest time, I was so used to dangles but after I finally got the hang of it I really like it now. There were some exciting times near the chipper though. That looks like a really well thought out set up. Hope they sell like hot cakes
Dave is good guy. I bought my giant from him and he’s always been super helpful, he’s a tree guy and knows what we’re trying to do. I Highly recommend him.
After watching my buddies hook lift in action I truly regret not going that route when I had my chip truck built. He has a flatbed equipment hauler, debris boxes, log bunks, water truck tank with all the sprayers and hoses, maybe others I don’t recall and can pull a trailer behind any of them.
I have the 254 tele with a bmg dangle grapple. When I bought it from tnt it was the first giant on the west coast. It has held up very well and it will lift snd carry surprisingly big loads but it took a minute to learn how to carry he’s y stuff. Picture carrying a log in your arms ,tucked up...

I have the giant articulated loader which is fast and nimble on good ground and a couple kubota mini excavators with rigid grapples for everything else. A...
I have a giant 254 tele and my experience with Top Notch Equipment has been great. They have always been very helpful even though I’m on the opposite side of the country. Never ran an avant but I can make the giant dance

When done right they should last just as long or longer. I clean them frequently, run clean filters and sharp chains, change the spark plugs, the most common failure I see is greenhorns pinching the bar and breaking the av systems when they yank on them. Which since I have a small crew and we do...
