15 years of doing tree work and had my first property damage today.

I would think that someone would be much more liable. The service should have been changed and grounded properly. I agree what if an act of nature put a limb there. The building inspector that signed of on the electrical is really responsible. Our legal system can be so lame!!

Running out of rope and not tieing a knot

This was my thought I can understand the knot getting in the way when you are doing redirects. But if you rushing you may knot notice that your rope has gone through one to many redirects.

Running out of rope and not tieing a knot

I have heard several stories were climbers have been descending only to find they just passed the end of the rope. One climber I think is an excellent climber. I forgot if I saw it on a DVD and or read it in climbers companion. Basic safety is to tie a knot a slip knot 8 to 10 feet from the...

    New Saw and Tremotion Bridge

Hi everyone I am looking at a 460 on e-bay it has 140psi compression. That seems a little low to me. Anyone know I already bid on it the 441's that were refurbished went for $500 or more plus 60.00 for shipping. This saw is going to be at least $500 + 28.00 to ship. I don't like the idea of...

    New Saw and Tremotion Bridge

I just put a bid on e-bay on a dealer refurbished MS461 . My top bid is $200 +60 for shipping. It is the carborated version. Is this one of the saws that was recalled or does it go by serial no. I haven't called my dealer yet but I thought the last time I was there I saw a MS 362 that didn't...

    New Saw and Tremotion Bridge

I had a o38 and sold for reasons I can't remember but my neighbor has it and won't let me tough it. But I was the first one he called when he needed someone to climb and this week he had an Ash fall on his deck and didn't know how to deal with it so I went over with saw and cut it for him. I...

    New Saw and Tremotion Bridge

My personal opinion on Husky's are they are good saws but, Husqavarna isn't the company they use to be I have one of there snow blowers and a riding lawn mower. The mower has been good to me seeing what I put it through but the snow blower is not built very well and it is top of the line...

    New Saw and Tremotion Bridge

I am going to go with the MS 361 if my dealer can find one with the regular carb. not big on electronics on any motor but its the future cars have them but they don't have as much vibration running through them. My buddy told me there was a recall on some of the Stihl saws. Did anyone hear...

    New Saw and Tremotion Bridge

I didn't expect a response that quickly I think I might have been looking at the 361 the Husky's are great saws but I am partial to Stihl. But that is based on my experience with the old Husk's I have. I find the Stihl's easier to work on. But since I will probably be getting a new saw I won't...
