The turbine gun does spray higher but beware you'll go through water a lot quicker. You can also adjust the discs in the Bean gun and the turbine gun to affect spray height and droplet size.
John Deere Landscapes does a great job. They're cheap - $16 for a standard sample and the have quick turnaround. Penn State does it too but I prefer to use private labs.
