i spent about an hour last night and watched all five parts, i could stop watching that was really interesting with asolutely beautiful scenery. great post jimmy im headed off to buy some one inch webbing today.
huskys are great on the ground but when it comes to a top handle saw stihls are the bees knees...i havent used a solo or any brands other then stihl and husky but im gonna go out on a limb and say that the 200t is king
ive never used blue moon as a lanyard but velocity works very well. i havent had a 16 strand lanyard in a long time cause i prefer the smaller lighter lines. they fit me and my climbing style alot better but im sure 16 strands work just fine

i do use kmIII for a lanyard and love it. the knots can be a bit bulky and can roll out, but i lock stitch my knot to prevent it from moving and am constantly checking it. i like how well you can flip it and how well my vt works with it. ill try to get a picture for you...
i have used just about every kind of rope for a lanyard and have not found that double braids wear any faster then 16 strands. i currently have a velocity lanyard and a 10 mm beeline lanyard both of which work great. my favorite lanyard is 10mm static line though. im using neropes kmIII with...

yeah i dont understand the reasoning behind not allowing a knotted friction saver, personally i wouldnt use one cause i prefer a spliced friction saver but by telling competitors they cant create their own gear is limiting their ability to push the limits of our industry and limits innovation
i totally agree mark. im not forced to work in extremely high temperatures due to my location but come on, i have never thought twice about wearing a helmet on hot days...its contents are too important
