    Ours is any injury that causes lost time or any cost for a visit to a clinic or doctor. We have been very grateful over the past year that everyone has been making great strides with their safety. Prior to that year we had a string of stupid accidents that were simply the workers not paying...

    The only way is labor intensive. I use a flat shovel and cut squares like your doing sod, then slice under the plants removing the squares one at a time.Then amend the soil and till, you will not have any coming back.

    Not seeing the tree this is just a guess. But here in Michigan we have had about the same weather. Anthracnose is hitting the maples and sycamores. In some areas it looks like fall with all the leaves on the ground.

    It's different here depending on town rules. Some even have an inch for inch replacement clause if the homeowner wants to remove a healthy tree.
