DMM Pulleys, Misc. Biners & Snaps

I have a mixed bag of hardware for sale. I'd prefer to sell it all together for $200, shipping included. The pulleys and biners are only a few months old with minimum wear. The snaps and f8 are older, but in good, working condition. 1 DMM Hitchclimber Pulley, Red 1 DMM PINTO Pulley, Red 1 DMM...

    Who is this climber?

Amazing how fluid all of his movements are. Also, that's a pretty big cut with the size of the bar on his homelite...a true pro.

    Buckingham Rebellion??

Looks to me like this is a simplified version of the Ergo-Lite and/or Empire tree saddle, which I have been climbing on for the past two years. http://www.treestuff.com/store/catalog.asp?category_id=141&item=3460 The bones of all of these saddles, including the Rebellion, look essentially the...

    Sterling Tendril Climbing Line

Sort of a long story...but to be brief, I've had some changes in employment, and my current employer only allows us to use company issued rope, and I just got a new Calamine line at work, so I don't need the extra, almost new rope, sitting around at home. I am a fan of the rope, especially for...

    Stupid arborist

Thanks for sharing your story, Mac. I think my own capacity for absentmindedness, or "human error", or whatever you want to call it, is the most terrifying part of this work for me. I trust my gear, I trust my tie-in-points, I trust my methods and training. Still, every time I do a crane...

    ErgoLite 'Empire' Saddle

Thanks for all the replies. Going to put this saddle on "hold" for a friend who wants to take a look at it. Will bump the thread if it becomes available again.

    ErgoLite 'Empire' Saddle

I think it's basically the same saddle as The Edge. There are several variations on the bridge setup for the ErgoLite/Edge. I'm not so sure about the fall arrest suspenders...There is a spot on the back of the saddle where they might be able to connect, but somebody else would have to verify...

    ErgoLite 'Empire' Saddle

Buckingham Ergolite 'Empire' Saddle, size Small (28-32") for sale. Asking $300. I used this saddle for about 4 weeks, so it is in almost new condition. It has a rigging plate with knotted rope bridge setup. This is a really great work saddle. I simply don't have a current need for it...

    Crap gear!

Weaver throw ball - ring broke loose from the bag on Day 2! To be fair, it got a little hung up and I had to yank on it, some...BUT, I've yanked pretty hard on my Sherrill throw ball and never had the ring rip out the stitching.

    trigger for big shot

yoyo - what are the D's you are referring to? I use to attach my panic snap to a quick link attached to the webbing on the pouch, but it altered my range and accuracy. Now I just attach directly to the webbing, but I am concerned about wearing the webbing out before the whole assembly of...

    Climbers that wear chainsaw pants

I think it is cool that even though US climbers aren't required to wear them, unlike Canadian and Euro climbers, many of us opt to, in spite of the apparent high price tag. (Granted, stitching up a chainsaw wound is much more expensive.) I hope this is a sign that the culture of US climbing is...
