I remember my first DOT experience. Got stopped by a Highway Patrolmen to do a roadside inspection and he started to rattle off the violations we had (all smaller maintenance issues). My boss pulled up and asked him what the problem was, he starts to explain that he's writing us a ticket for all...
Chilly grips. They are about as thick as I can go while maintaining dexterity. Get some hot hands and put them on the inside of your wrist, it warms the blood and improves circulation.
I'm the boss now, so we don't work below zero. I figure, below zero, we're slower, machinery breaks, accidents...
Kind of like a vertical speed line. The THT would provide enough friction that when you kick a piece off, the rope will catch enough to bring the piece back towards the tree without stopping it completely.
I agree that the saying can be annoying but I can also understand why it's said. If we can help the client understand the poor management choices that were made in the past that led to the current problem, hopefully they can be avoided in the future.
Another important thing to remember is that chemical treatments for pests are almost always a short term solution. Sure, we can start treating every single Ash tree to prevent EAB. It'll probably even work... for a bit. How long until the pest we're targeting becomes resistant? And what do we do...
I just noticed it was back in stock too. Better throw 50 feet in my next order before it goes away again. Though it doesn't have the snazzy red stitching.
Agreed, I felt the same when I lived in Tennessee. Here in Wyoming the windchill is what gets you. Today it was 5 but with windchill -9. One town in Wyoming hit -63 (with windchill) earlier this week.
Yeah, it was a couple hours away. It was so cold the water from the hoses was freezing almost immediately. They had it way more brutal than we did though, we were only around -10 that night, Dubois was -23.
I love Wyoming but it's not even fun to ski at these temps. So far it's milder than last...
No, I really meant balmy. I've been dealing with a lot of days lately where the high is 0. I rejoice when it gets into the single digits and throw on a t-shirt when it gets into double digits.
If that's what you want to say, go for it. Say that. Don't post a form like that and then claim it's taken out of context. As was pointed out, if you are tearing down men for acting like women, then you imply that women are inferior to men. I'm sorry but that simply can't be taken out of...
