blowby looks like puffs of steam that can be seen by taking the oil fill cap off while the engine is running. It indicates worn rings that are allowing gas to escape into the crankcase.
So I finally got a truck. I have a question. We got a 2006 C6500 Asplund chiptruck with a man cab. How do you use the chains in the toolboxes & ladder box or how do you secure stuff like the ladder? Mine has chains in the boxes that do not have connectors & seem kinda short.
Thanks for the advice everyone not many chip trucks around here to look at. Here is one that has been grabbing my attention for awhile now. What do you think about this one? https://equipment.treetrader.com/index.php?a=2&b=36491
so you think an extended cab with an L box would work quite well for our needs? We could get most of the equipment in the boxes. Then put the climbing gear & lunches in the cab. I have not been able to look at any trucks except for a C5500 with a man cab.
That's kinda of what I thought. I am leaning towards a man cab because I think my equipment would fit & one man would be able to still ride in there. What do you all think?
I am finally getting serious about finding a chip truck. Do the L boxes have enough room for two climber's gear, rigging gear, 2 Ms 261s, Ms 660, 2 MS 200t, and fuel?

Really strange not to have any names or even an real address.

Comes up at the top of the search but their website doesn't mention any names, uses all photos from the web and says they're ISA certified
