    Carlton 1260 Chipper **SOLD**

More pictures. I also have several sets of sharp knives. I took the deflector off because we jack knifed it into the back of the truck. It just needs to be straightened out and the hinge pin put back in.

    Rooster next door

It's has a lot to do with your acceptance of a sound if it wakes you up or not. Roosters are a peaceful sound compared to the neighbor man curseing at his family or dogs that are shut up too much. It takes a bit to used to something but if it is a "all is well sound" it is not hard to get used...

    Battery Saw

Also the Stihl has a really fast chain speed! So it really rips through small diameter stuff.

    Battery Saw

I have really enjoyed my Stihl top handle saw. It is not as powerful or capable as the Husky. It excels on the smaller diameter stuff that I encounter on crown reductions and the like. (under 6") The advantages are the small chain and carving bar. It is relatively small and light weight. It...

    Husky 3120XP rev limiter malfunction

So I replaced the ignition module and flywheel. It made no change. Yesterday I pulled out the carb & the fuel line tore off at the end of the nipple. I'm thinking there is a possibility that it had a crack that was causing air bubbles to enter the carb. So I'm buying a carb kit and new fuel...

    Husky 3120XP rev limiter malfunction

So the rev limiter on my 3120XP on my Alpine Magnum stump cutter seems to be malfunctioning. It will run good for about a minute then will start kicking in at lower rpms. Has anybody else experienced this? Do I need to replace the ignition module, replace the ignition module and flywheel or...

DOES ANYONE ELSE HATE STUMP GRINDING?

Do you mean why does it run hotter? A two cycle engine running without a load runs lean heating it up and scoring the cylinder. A flywheel just makes the situation worse. With the AM you must learn to control the rpms and load. I run it so at the start of the cut on the stump the motor is...

DOES ANYONE ELSE HATE STUMP GRINDING?

I personally never use gloves when operating it unless it's cold out. I very rarely notice any problems with vibrations any more. Usually excess vibrations are caused by dirt in the cutter wheel rim. However I had a skinny employee who had trouble with getting vibrated. I think it boils down to...

DOES ANYONE ELSE HATE STUMP GRINDING?

I have the Husqvarna. It runs like crazy! Due to the fact that you have to use 32:1 gas mix it spits quite a bit of oil into the air cleaner. So you'll want to swap out the felt air cleaner for a foam one. I've been bugging Keith to send them out with a foam air cleaner every time I talk to...
