@deevo it was in the truck needed the 200' for those tulips. no wives came out that day brushed out and chunked what i needed with the 201. brought out the 880 the next day for the sticks.

It's a big deal to get a piece of equipment but when you actually own it, the extra hustle that comes with it is nice. I'm only working on weekends so when I buy things for me it's a big thing. I only split wood after work everyday, and tree work on weekends
Log truck was 450 every time I had him pick up wood which was a steal for me, but then I needed an excavator so that was 500 pick up Friday night make sure it's ready on trailer to bring back Monday morning, not going over the 8 hrs way too much stress
Skid steers are nice to have, in the perfect world we would all have one of everything. But for versatile the xcavtor is far surperior to the skid steer. You can reach farther, have full 360* access from one spot, better visibility, dig stumps instead of grinding. Cleaning up big stump grinding...
@Gorman, if I fit all wood from job in truck and on trailer and dump trailer then I take my other trailer n go back for machine if I'm not moving it to next job. Otherwise I unload logs at yard with skid steer t300 or larger excavator. May seem to take a little longer then having log truck come...
