The tear is only about an 1 1/2" long so it should be fine if there is no movement in that spot on the bag, nothing else seems to stick to the bag. I tried rubber cement first and it came right off. I don't have any shoe goo, but never had luck with that repairng shoes.
Well I patched the inside with the barge cement and the tube patch, it feels like I could peel it off pretty easy, I'm going to super glue the edges just in case, I'm starting to think epoxy for the outer patch
It's super light, but also very stiff, I didn't care for it much with the rope wrench, you could literally kink it like a steel cable and it will hold its shape, but it's been a couple years since I've been on it...don't think I have ever had a zk2 on it, maybe I'll give it another go, after all...
