    Salsco 818 or 818XT brush chippers??

    Does anyone have any experience with Salsco chippers (particularly the larger models)?? If so, I would be very interested in some feedback on these machines (performance, capability, durability, etc.). I'll look forward to any responses as I just purchased a 818 but haven't picked it up yet.

Unit has been partially rebuilt and rehosed from the pedistal-up. Truck needs rear tires and a paint job- other than those things...

    winch cable for bandit 254

    We have used AmSteel blue for a number of years and have had good success with it. With your "ultra" abrasive environment you might experience too much wear from the rocks. Steel cable will probably be your best bet. Going back with steel will also keep you from having to polish all of the winch...
